Black Board Rails

These Black Board Rails measure 1,57 x 0,2 inches. They are produced with 3D printed by friends, this allow us to have a wide variety of colors. Do you want to see the rest of the colors?

They come with 8 screws, although it is not necessary to use all of them. We have been using a couple per Board Rail, one on each extreme, and they work perfectly anyway.

How to set up Board Rails in 3 steps

This isn’t the easiest task when it comes to set up a fingerboard. In fact this may be the most complicated one if you don’t know the next tips.

Firstly we need to mark the deck, creating a small hole on it so the screw will can penetrate deeper in the wood. You can make this mark by colocating a Board Rail with the screws and keep screwing until you create a little hole.

Once the marks are made, we’ll extend the little hole. A tool can help you do it. Using the part of the screwer (obviously).

Finally you can screw the Board Rail. In fingerboarding it is easier to maintain the tool quite and rotate the fingerboard.
